Salary: €85,000 - €105,000 base salary + 26% bonus (€107,100 - €132,300 package)
Overview
We are partnered with a global consultancy delivering large-scale cloud and platform transformations for enterprise organisations. This role is built for a senior technologist ready to combine architecture ownership, team leadership, and client advisory within complex multi-stakeholder environments. You will shape cloud strategy, lead engineering teams, and guide organisations through modernisation programmes that directly influence operational performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams delivering secure cloud-native platforms
- Own architecture from concept through production deployment
- Advise senior stakeholders on cloud strategy, modernisation, and DevOps practices
- Establish reusable frameworks, standards, and scalable solution patterns
- Coach engineering teams and foster a high-performance delivery culture
- Support pre-sales activity, proposals, and client engagements
Tech Stack
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Architecture: Distributed systems, microservices, cloud data platforms
- Infrastructure: Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms
- Additional Exposure: AI/ML environments beneficial
Ideal Background
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures
- Demonstrated leadership within engineering or consultancy settings
- Deep expertise across at least one hyperscaler, certifications preferred
- Strong track record delivering complex transformation programmes
- Commercial awareness with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent German and English (minimum B2)
