Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 base salary + 17% bonus (€87,750 - €99,450 package)
Overview
We are supporting a global consultancy delivering high-value cloud transformation and system engineering solutions across the automotive, industrial, and financial sectors. This role is tailored for a senior-level engineer or consultant ready to step into a leadership role, managing hybrid technical teams, and driving the successful delivery of complex cloud-native environments for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering teams (5-10 engineers) across multiple client engagements
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of scalable cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure
- Guide implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (or equivalent)
- Direct the development of CI/CD pipelines and drive automation best practices
- Own cloud migration strategies, containerisation rollouts, and backend integrations
- Act as escalation point for production incidents and system troubleshooting
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps leaders to align technical delivery with business goals
- Support junior engineers through mentoring, code reviews, and structured feedback

Ideal Background
- Strong background in cloud-native system engineering and infrastructure delivery
- Prior experience leading technical teams in consultancy or complex enterprise settings
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and modern infrastructure tooling
- Confident managing stakeholders and delivering in client-facing environments
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and German
- Comfortable working in agile and distributed team structures
